Spent yesterday with one of my oldest friends and my baby on a wonderful day trip that was originally planned for 2020, long before I imagined there being a baby on the scene. A gay day trip around West Yorkshire for Pride month - Shibden Hall, Hebden Bridge, women’s football.
Wrote most of the perinatal health chapter of my book during my first trimester, so it feels quite apt to be editing it with a snoozy 5-month-old on my boob 🤱 #multitaskingmama
Bit late sharing this one, but my latest for @theipaper looks at the menopause experiences of women going through cancer treatment - for whom HRT isn’t necessarily a straightforward option - and explores how the broader menopause movement can be better at including all voices and experiences. Thanks to @trekstock @eveappeal @healthywholeme & Amy for speaking to me.

🗞I’m back in @theipaper again this week, talking about #GetLippy, #gynaecancer prevention, and why knowing our own bodies is key to improving women’s health.
